WC946 18cc Big Valve 31/25 Head with 26# Springs
This is the new, stronger head with standard length 31mm intake and 25mm exhaust valves. Comes with 26# valve springs and billet retainers with split lock keepers.
The 18cc "kidney bean" chamber increases the compression over a stock head.
This head does not have the spring pockets milled for dual or 36# single springs. If using heavier springs, the builder must machine the spring pockets for the specific springs.
Added material around both ports allows for more porting versus stock type heads. The ports are also larger in stock form than most stock heads.
The spark plug hole has been moved closer to the exhaust valve for more complete combustion and keeps the head stronger!
The valve cover gasket surface is raised .150" over stock heads and may allow the use of Champion rockers or roller rockers while using the stock valve cover. Check for clearance before running the engine.
This head fits clone style blocks with 10mm dowel pins. For the Predator 212 non-Hemi blocks, use 11mm dowel pins and the head must be drilled to use it on those blocks.
