Jets too small, “muffler” too loud. Good otherwise.
Installed kit on a new predator mud motor with maybe 5 hours on it. Engine would barely start and only run with half choke. 42 jet was way too small. Drilled it out with the smallest bit I had (1/16”) and it fired right up and ran very well. 1/16” is a tad rich but much closer to correct size for Florida’s sea level elevation and 75-85 degree weather. It would be great if larger jet was included. Exhaust volume went from 107 decibels stock exhaust at WOT to 122 decibels WOT with this “muffler”. I seem to feel more low end power but top end speed stayed the same since my engine is still governed.
