MOD1 Grind, Welded Lobe, Predator 224cc
The MOD1 has a very wide power band that makes slightly more top end power than the 308 grind, and is easy on the valve train. The MOD1 is a great cam for a modified engine build and requires an upgraded spring package, billet rod, and billet flywheel.
The lobes on this cam are welded for extra durability.
The 224cc camshafts have .550" main journal sizes. The cams have been clearanced between the lobes and feature narrow lobes. These modifications allow for rod clearance due to the 58mm stroke. The compression release is also thinner to clear the 58mm crank counterweight. These camshafts work with Harbor Freight Predator 224cc and Tillotson 224cc engines.
