I bought a predator 212 stage 1 performance kit. I installed it, the engine ran a little choppy then stalled and won’t start anymore. Do you know what I should do?

We have a list of things that must be checked:

When you swapped the valve springs, did you set the lash at .003" on both sides?

When the flywheel advance key was installed, was the step facing the front of the engine?

Did you replace the jets in the carb? Can you see the brass emulsion tube in the bottom of the venturi of the carb?

Will the engine fire on starting fluid?

Is the plastic spacer still installed between the carb and head?
