I recently bought the Predator 212 non hemi stage 2 kit and was wondering what jet it comes with. I'm having some hesitation at first in acceleration. After a couple seconds it finally kicks in and runs fine. Wondering if a different size jet would help with that.

That kit comes with a .037 main jet... but I don't think that is the issue. I believe the issue is with the pilot jet located on the top of the carb. Have you adjusted the screw at the front flange of the carb? This is the air/fuel mixture screw for the low to mid-range adjustment. Turn that screw all the way in and back it out 1-1/2 turns and tune from there. If that does not help, we can go to a larger pilot jet.

I am thinking it is too lean from the low to mid-range rpm level. The main jet has no bearing on that.
